Then we recommend that you do without prefilling your tax return this time and complete your tax return by hand.
This is possible without further ado - even if you have already applied for data retrieval. Simply open the relevant tax year - and you can start working on it. After you have answered all the questions, you can submit your return to the tax office.

As soon as you have received the activation code, you can use it to activate prefill data for future tax years, if you wish. We explain exactly how this works in this article.
