In general, scholarships are not taxable income and therefore do not have to be declared in the tax return.
However, if your scholarship also covers educational costs in addition to living expenses, you must take this into account when declaring your educational costs:
In this case, the part of your scholarship that relates to educational costs reduces your educational expenses that you would like to claim in your tax return. The education costs that you want to declare in your tax return must therefore be reduced by this part of the scholarship beforehand.
