With each new tax year, Taxfix gives you the freedom to choose:
You can either opt for the Expert Service or simply prepare your tax return yourself using the Taxfix app. You can decide anew from year to year.
Switching between the two methods in a tax return is possible without any problems as long as you have not yet submitted the return to us.
This is how you switch to the Expert Service
You have already started doing your tax return yourself, but have not yet submitted it to us?
Then you can easily switch to the expert service. Simply go to the overview of the tax years and select the field "Help from tax advisor?
If you have already sent us your self-prepared tax return, you can only switch if you have not yet paid the fee. In this case, please cancel the submitted tax return by sending an e-mail to support@taxfix.de. As soon as you have received confirmation of cancellation from us, you can add the expert service to the corresponding tax year.
To remove the Expert Service and prepare your return yourself
If you have not yet completed your booking, you can quickly remove the expert service yourself. Simply click on "Remove service" in the app.
If you have already completed your booking, you must cancel the expert service. Here we explain how to do this.
🚨 Important
Once your tax return has been sent to the tax office, it is no longer possible to switch for the tax year in question.
