If you have chosen the Expert Service, the tax advisor will need certain documents from you in order to prepare your tax return. In your personal checklist you can always see which documents you should provide. Simply upload the documents listed on the checklist in the Taxfix app.
Some documents are even absolutely necessary to create your tax return. Without these documents, the expert cannot send your return to the tax office. These include proof of your income, such as:
- Annual payroll (Lohnsteuerbescheinigung)
- Wage replacement benefits
- Investment income (capital gains)
- Income from cryptocurrency trading
- Pension benefit statement (Rentenbezugsmitteilung)
- Foreign, non-German income

If possible, upload all the documents that appear on your checklist. The more you upload, the more accurately the tax advisor can prepare your tax return.
