If you are employed and receive a pension at the same time, you can use Taxfix. Please note, however, that we currently only cover statutory pensions in our app. Unfortunately, private pension income cannot yet be entered.
First, in the "Intro questions" section, indicate what income you had in the tax year. You can make more than one selection here. If you were employed and received a pension at the same time, then select "Pensions" and "Wages or salary".
You then record your income in the "Income" category. Here you enter your annual payslip (Lohnsteuerbescheinigung) from your employer and all relevant data on your pension. Simply follow the course of the questions.
Income-related expenses (Werbungskosten) that you would like to claim in connection with your pension are asked for directly when you enter your pension income in the "Income" category.
Income-related expenses for your job can be entered in the “Work” category.
