Sometimes, incorrect information can be entered in the tax declaration or something gets mixed up. To correct such errors, you have the option to delete all entered answers for a specific tax year in the Taxfix mobile app and start your tax return from scratch.
How do I delete my answers?
- Open the desired tax year in the Taxfix mobile app.
- Click on the three dots in the top right corner.
- Tap on “Clear all answers” and confirm your selection.
What data will be deleted?
The "Clear all answers" function will only delete your answers for the specific tax year you select. All entered answers in all categories for that particular tax year will be deleted.
Data in other tax years or your personal information in your account will not be affected.
Can I undo the deletion of my answers?
No. All information you entered for the selected tax year will be permanently deleted.
Why can't I delete my answers?
It's important that you haven't submitted your tax declaration to the tax office yet. You can only delete your answers in the app while your tax declaration is still being edited.
Additionally, it is crucial that the latest version of the app is installed on your smartphone.

Is this feature available for Android?
Currently, this feature is only available for iOS. Our IT team is working to make it available to all users soon.
Can I delete my answers on a computer?
The web version will also be available as soon as possible.
A small trick: delete your answers via your smartphone and then log in through the browser to continue editing your reset tax declaration as usual.
