Possible issues and their causes

The app is not loading or is freezing
This may be due to server delays or an unstable internet connection. Check if your WiFi or mobile data is stable and try again.

Issues uploading documents
If the upload fails, the file size might be too large, or there could be temporary server congestion. Try reducing the file size and uploading again later.

Login not working
If you cannot log in, you might not have received the one-time code (OTP) or entered the wrong code. Check your email inbox, including the spam folder, and ensure you use the latest code.
What can you do?
🛜 Check your internet connection – Make sure you have a stable WiFi or mobile data connection.
🍭 Update the app – An outdated version may cause errors. Check the App Store or Google Play Store for updates.
🧹 Clear cache & cookies – A full storage cache can cause issues. Clear the app cache in your device settings.
🏁 Restart your device – A simple restart can often fix the problem.

How to use Taxfix on the web:
- Open the Taxfix web version at https://app.taxfix.de/login.
- Log in with your registered email address.
- You will receive a 6-digit code via email – enter it in the login field.
Done! You can continue your tax return in your browser.
⚠️ The web version is currently only available on a computer, not on mobile devices.
