The final calculation of your tax is always carried out by the tax office. Only the tax office can officially determine whether you receive a tax refund or have to make an additional payment.
- The tax office makes the final decision - The Taxfix calculation is a forecast, but the tax office makes the final decision.
- Deviations are possible - Not all information is recognized and missing evidence can lead to changes.
- You can react - Check the tax assessment notice, download the transfer protocol and file an appeal if necessary.
π Your Guide
Why are there discrepancies?
The calculation in the Taxfix app is based on the data you enter and is performed with the greatest possible accuracy. However, discrepancies may occur because tax regulations allow for interpretation in certain cases.
Possible reasons for a discrepancy:
- The tax office does not recognize all specified items or only considers them partially.
- Certain supporting documents or records were not submitted.
- Some information was incomplete.
- Special tax regulations were applied differently than in the Taxfix calculation.
π‘ Just because the app accepts certain entries does not mean the tax office will recognize them in full.
