Deducting Pregnancy Expenses in Your Tax Return
Medical Bills
You can deduct the following costs if they are medically necessary (doctorβs certificate required):

Non-Deductible Costs

These count as general living expenses and are not deductible.
Did You Pay the Costs Yourself?
You can only deduct amounts you paid yourself. If your health insurance, employer, or another party covered or reimbursed the expenses, you must subtract these reimbursements.
