What is the Document Manager?
The Document Manager helps you collect and organize receipts and records for your tax return. This feature is available for tax years from 2024 onwards and can be accessed via your profile โ Documents.
๐ก Tip: Make sure you have installed the latest app version to access all features.
๐ Please note: Uploaded documents are not automatically matched or checked against your tax return entries.
How to upload documents
- Tap the profile icon ๐ค and go to โDocumentsโ.
- Select โAdd documentโ or choose a category from the list.
- Scan your document using your camera or upload a file (photo or PDF).
- Label the document with a name and amount.
- Categorize your document, e.g., as โDonationsโ or โWork Expensesโ.
Which documents and formats are supported?
Examples of documents you can upload include:
- Insurance statements
- Donation receipts
- Utility bills
- Work-related and travel expenses
โ๏ธ Supported formats: JPG, PNG, PDF, HEIC
โ ๏ธ Max file size: 50 MB per document
โ๏ธ Multiple pages? No problem! A document can have several pages. Just click the + when scanning.
Edit and manage your documents
Uploaded something incorrectly? No worries!
Change category
- Go to your document, tap the three dots, and move it to the correct category.
Edit details
- You can change the title, amount, or replace/delete the file.
- Open the document via profile โ Documents, then tap the three dots at the bottom right.
- Confirm your changes to save.
๐ก Note: Downloading your uploaded documents is currently not possible.
Using documents for your tax return
Can documents be imported automatically into the tax return?
At this time, automatic import of values and data into your tax return is not yet available. This feature is planned for 2026.

- Use the app to organize all your documents in one place.
- Easily refer to the details while filling in your tax return.
Do I need to keep the original documents?
Yes! Even if you store everything in the Document Manager, itโs important to keep the original documents. Right now, itโs not possible to forward these files to the tax office or download them.
