What happens when you close your account?
When you close your Taxfix account, your data will be removed and you will no longer have access to your account. The closure is permanent – it cannot be undone.
Please make sure that you don’t have any open or ongoing tax returns that you might still need access to before closing your account.
How to close your Taxfix account
You can delete your account either via the iOS app or in your browser on a computer:
- Log in to your Taxfix account.
- In the overview, tap the user icon in the top right corner.
- Select “Close account”.
- Confirm your decision – your account will then be permanently deleted.
Important note for Android users
💡 Currently, it is not possible to close your account via the Android app. Please use an iOS device or open your account in a web browser on your computer to complete the process.
What to do if the button is not visible
If the “Close account” button is missing in the app, please check whether you have the latest version of the app installed. Updating usually solves the issue.
