You want to upload additional documents for your tax return, but it’s not working? Here’s why that might be and what you can do about it.
- Once your tax return is being processed, your tasks are locked.
- You can still view your uploaded documents, but you can’t add new ones.
- Contact us by email so we can unlock your tasks.
- After uploading, you need to resubmit your tasks.

Why is the upload locked?
As soon as your return is being processed by the tax advisor, your tasks in the Taxfix account are automatically locked. This means:
- You can no longer make new entries.
- You can’t upload any additional documents.
However, you still have access to your overview and can view all previously uploaded documents.
💡 Please also note: It’s important that you update the Taxfix app to ensure all functions display correctly.
How we unlock your tasks
If you want to submit additional documents or information, simply send us an email at support@taxfix.de.
Please use the email address you used to register with Taxfix so we can quickly assign your request.
💡 If you only want to pass on information to the tax advisor, we’re happy to forward your message directly.
After unlocking: Resubmit your task
⚠️ Important: After uploading, you must resubmit your task.
Here’s how:
- Open your personal tasks in the app.
- Upload the missing documents in the relevant sections.
- Tap “All done” to submit your updated information.
Only once your data has been fully resubmitted can our partner tax firm proceed with preparing your tax return.
