π‘ Name change: If your current name (e.g., after marriage) is not yet shown on your ID, simply send us proof such as your marriage certificate by email.
Which foreign documents are valid?
π We also accept foreign versions of the documents listed above β no additional proof is required.
How does the identification process work?
πΈ Photograph the document: After granting power of attorney to the tax advisor, open the Taxfix app and follow the instructions for your tax year. Ensure that the document is fully visible and clearly readable.
π€³ Take a selfie: Take a photo of your face to complete the identification process.
π Submit: After successful verification, you can submit your tax return.
π‘ Tip for web browser users: Preferably use your smartphone for identification. Alternatively, you can use the web version if your computer has a working camera.
Technical tips if problems occur
If problems occur during identification:

Make sure your appversion is up to date.

Check your internet connection and restart your device if necessary.

Delete and reinstall the app.

Ensure that camera permissions are activated on your smartphone.

Upload your documents in PDF, JPEG, or PNG format β preferably unencrypted.

If uploading fails, try different documents or file formats.
π After photographing your document, youβll be asked to take a selfie. If the automatic process doesnβt work, please try to complete the identification manually.
Further notes on identification
