🚀 Your Guide
How long does processing take?
As soon as you have uploaded all required documents completely and legibly in your personal checklist, the partner tax advisor usually needs 4 to 6 weeks to process your return.
🚨 Important: Due to high demand, longer processing times may currently occur in some cases.
Why does it take several weeks to complete?
Your tax advisor carefully checks all documents to get the best possible result from your tax return. In addition:
-
a personal summary of your return is created,
-
you may be contacted if clarification is needed,
-
and there is currently a high volume of requests.
What can delay the processing?
To ensure that your return can be processed quickly, please make sure to:
-
complete all tasks in the app,
-
upload all documents clearly and correctly,
-
click the “All done” button after uploading your documents,
-
complete the identification process,
-
and respond promptly to emails (e.g. if documents are missing, incomplete, or invalid).
What to do if the tax office puts pressure on you?
If the tax office is requesting feedback, you can send them the authorization form you granted to your tax advisor. You’ll find it in the app as a PDF document.
💡 Tip: It’s best to send the authorization via email – it’s faster than mailing it.
📌 Using a tax advisor automatically grants a deadline extension.
What happens after completion?
As soon as your tax advisor has completed your return, you will be notified by email. Your finished tax return will be available in your Taxfix app.
There, you can:
-
read the tax advisor’s summary,
-
review all data again,
-
and decide whether to submit the return (button: “Looks good”) or request a review (button: “Something’s not right”).
Only after your confirmation will the return be submitted to the tax office.
