🚀 Your Guide
What is VG Wort?
VG Wort is a copyright collecting society that manages royalties for authors. If you're registered with them, you may receive payments – for example, for published texts.
Why doesn't this work with Taxfix?
VG Wort payments count as self-employment income under tax law. At the moment, the Taxfix app does not support tax cases for self-employed persons, freelancers, or business owners. These require special tax forms that we currently do not support.
Therefore, you cannot enter VG Wort income in our app at this time.
What can I do instead?
If you have self-employment income, you need to submit your tax return via ELSTER or with the help of a tax advisor.
