When can I cancel?
You can cancel the Expert Service within 14 days of placing your order, provided the service has not already been completed.
How do I cancel correctly?
Please send your cancellation request via email to support@taxfix.de. We will forward your request to the assigned partner tax advisor, who will cancel your order and send you the official cancellation confirmation by email.

What happens after the cancellation?
Once you receive the cancellation confirmation by email, you can switch to the regular Taxfix app flow one day later and prepare your tax return yourself via the app or in your browser. The Expert Service will no longer be active.
When is cancellation no longer possible?

Your 14-day cancellation period has already expired.

We have already received your order and your tax return has been prepared. The completed return was sent to you by email and made available in the app.

In this case, the service has already been fully delivered and cancellation is no longer possible.
The following fee then applies:
💸 20 % of your expected refund, minimum €99.99. The amount will be debited automatically once the invoice has been issued.
⚠️ If you do not want your return to be submitted to the tax office, please do not confirm it in the app.

What if no data has been submitted yet?
At this point, we have not yet received your tax return data. That means we cannot technically process your cancellation yet.
Here’s what you need to do:

Open the Taxfix app.

Click “Submit to tax advisor” to complete the booking.

Send us a short email so we can unlock the correct tax year for you.
We will then cancel your order immediately and send you the confirmation by email.
What if the tax return was already submitted to the tax office?
If your tax return has already been submitted to the tax office, cancellation is no longer possible:

A tax return can only be submitted once per tax year.

If the tax office has already processed it and issued an assessment, a new submission won’t be accepted.

Technically, cancellation in our system is no longer possible either.
Please also note that your order for the Expert Service was binding and our partner tax firm has already been commissioned.
What happens if cancellation is still possible?
If your request is within the legal deadline and the service has not yet been completed:

We will forward your cancellation to our partner tax firm.

You will receive the official confirmation by email.

You can then prepare and submit your tax return yourself via the Taxfix app or in your browser.
